Marcel Arsand is the director of sustainability and public Affairs at Ball Beverage Packaging EMEA.

With experience in the waste management and food and drink sectors, Marcel has worked with organisations as diverse as Recoup, WRAP, DS Smith, and now Ball. 

He is responsible for the design, development and delivery of the EMEA strategy to position the company as a leading voice in the packaging debate. Focusing on driving the real circularity concept forward, he leads the industry on the company’s roadmap towards higher recycling rates. 

He has a background in bioscience with a masters in waste management, and he is also a chartered member of the Institute of Waste Managers (CIWM).
