Danny Newby is a founding director of Big Green Coach – with his fellow founding director, Kevin Green. They created Big Green Coach in 2009.

Big Green Coach’s core aim has always been to reduce the carbon footprint of any live event they work with. Two keys facts:

1. Audience travel is the largest contributor of carbon emissions for an event
2. Coach travel is the mode of transport with the lowest carbon footprint

This has always meant that the Big Green Coach service makes a significant impact on reducing the carbon emissions of any large event. Danny and his team at Big Green Coach have taken this environmental benefit of using coaches further and made it even more beneficial by initially planting trees for every coach used, to then sponsoring Amazonian Rainforest for every customer transported, to now committing to ensuring that 100% of all their coach services in 2022 are carbon neutral.

Big Green Coach has grown to be the largest supplier of coach travel to live music events in the UK with official and exclusive contracts in place for most major festivals such as: Download, Creamfields, Reading Festival, Leeds Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Boardmasters, Slam Dunk; as well as for major tours for the likes of: My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Coldplay, Liam Gallagher and Foo Fighters.
