Mental Health First Aid for the Industry

After an unprecedented two years and with the pressures of an entire industry ramping back up at speed, the topic of mental health is as crucial as ever… But how can we identify if a colleague is struggling, and how best to react and help?

Music Support is stepping in to host a discussion to raise awareness of the importance of Mental Health First Aid whether you are working in an office or onsite at a production. The session, hosted by Hannah Brinley, Music Support’s learning and development specialist and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England instructor, will provide an overview of the charity’s MHFA course.

Hannah will also be joined by Music Support MHFA alumni Will Holdoway, co-founder and director of Method Events, and Carole Mendy, head of production for Key Production Limited, who will discuss how their lives have been impacted by taking this crucial training and provide their recommendations on how we might approach Mental Health First Aid in the industry.
