APPLICATIONS FOR THE BURSARY SCHEME 2022 ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED.

ILMC’s bursary scheme provides complimentary conference passes and mentoring opportunities to 30 young professionals this year. The scheme is intended to provide a route for live music’s brightest upcoming executives to participate in ILMC for the first time.

The scheme is supported by ASM Global’s corporate social responsibility platform, ASM Global Acts, which launched in October 2021 to protect the environment, invest in people, and strengthen communities around the globe.

Each bursary scheme place includes a full ILMC conference pass, and the selected young executives will also be twinned with a dedicated industry mentor and benefit from additional networking opportunities at ILMC and afterwards via the ASM Global family. The scheme is a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and ideas and to build new contacts within the industry.

Founded in 2018, the Bursary scheme is named after the late Alia Dann Swift, ILMC’s long-standing producer who was instrumental in both bringing talent into the industry and supporting and encouraging new ILMC members.

The scheme is open to international applicants and encourages applicants from a diverse background.

The closing date to apply is Friday 1 April 2022, with successful applicants being notified by 7 April. Details of all successful applicants will remain strictly confidential.

To apply for a bursary place, you must:

  • Be a young executive already working in the live music business (suggested age of 30 and under)
  • Have not previously attended an ILMC
  • Have gone through the ILMC nomination process
  • Be willing to attend a networking breakfast on Wednesday, 27 April
